Trade muted users allowed to access union circle content

I noticed a message in #server_questions that made me suggest this. Simply put, add to/create a section regarding union circle play within the server, making it clear that, while trading is allowed within union circles as a game feature to make yourself aware of whom is trade muted.

I feel its grossly unfair someone should be excluded from online play such as grinding ogre ousting or BBQs because they may just have had an illegitimate pokemon or something, an exception to what I'm saying being: scammers who lie about pokemon being hacked, propose 3:1 trades but run when they get the desired pokemon etc. Basically in this it presents another role such as online play ban ? meaning, just a trade mute likley means hacked / genned pokemon in their possession, 'known scammer' for example, means they steal pokemon, lie about how pokemon are obtained etc.

All in all i found and use this server in one way to access online play because none of my irl friends play pokemon i have no other way to grind BBQ or ogre oustin and to see someone excluded from it due to a trade mute made me propose this.

Whether it means something or nothing, i have extensive discord moderation and coding experience so would happily help with such if my help were to be considered/accepted with this. Thanks for reading and considering my suggestion

Trading is a privilege on this server, not a right. if someone is trade muted it means that they've done something enough times to no longer trade on this server. As seal said, they're actively breaking our rules. It's not hard to follow the rules, and it's not an instamute if you don't :p generally its ~3 warnings if you're not a scammer before a permanent mute.

A friend of mine got banned as he mentioned he had a 'modified' ds which he did so in order to install PokeTransporter (a legitimate pokemon made application) then removed the modifications, he got muted and banned for this

yep just depends how thorough people are with checking who is trademuted etc. we can't expect to catch everyone who is trading hacked pokemon or scamming people through DMs, but we get whoever we can
the alternative is just banning people who keep breaking trading rules etc which can also work but we've found it's way more likely to cause people to make alts/start raiding the server etc etc

Personally that message tells me that he found out a maybe unknown method of pokemon modification, which in turn he found that poketransporter blocked all pokemon found in this way anyway. Not aware how this leads to possession of hacked pokemon in modern games

Ok so here's a summary.
Your point is: trademuted people should be allowed union circle access because they're being trademuted for no reason/it's fine to give them trading access
Our point is: they were trademuted because they can't be trusted to trade in the server, so they shouldn't have access to areas that allow them to trade

Your point is being made because you believe your friend when they say they were muted for no reason. We're obviously not going to change your mind on that, and we have our minds set that your friend can't be trusted. There's not really anywhere this conversation is going
