I think it's better to hunt it over a reset route

If u do random routes the fail rate is quite high. Snarl is nasty.

Cresselia took me a long time too

But u can use this to your advantage. Do the "lesser" legendaries like Cresselia, Raikou, Entei, lake trio, island guardians to build up your dynite ore in between the box legends, and then when u find a really good route for your box legend, go wild and go hard

My criteria for good routes are

1. 90% success rate

2. very very quick to finish

It's less stressful than failing repeatedly, and is much much faster to finish.

U've just gotta have the discipline not to take the phases. And there's the heartache when the ore runs out

I got ray quite early just soloing without having to reset over a good route

It doesn't have AOE attacks as far as I remember

So I didn't find it to be particularly difficult
