We stayed with host families so we had a lot of freedom, by day 3 we were navigating by ourselves with no problem and just taking the subway all over the place

Going to swap meets, museums, parks, it was a once in a lifetime experience that I loved. I am not normally someone who likes being out of their comfort zone like that, especially the first day or two I felt so homesick and out of my depth, but the second you open up to it and embrace it, shit was amazing
