I think it’s really great and so fun to see creative stuff like this, definitely makes underwhelming events more fun and worthwhile like you said. Not that I even have anything against Meganium in all honesty either haha

We try really stupid things and make them work

We beat:
Blaziken with pure power regigigas (fyi, low kick does like 90% of its HP), cryogonal, vikavolt
Empoleon with magnemite
Venusaur with Chespin (with 3 baby supports), eiscue, phione
Blastoise with charcadet, phione, furret
charizard with a feebas (lol), phione

I’ve also done blastoise as solo with inkay, chansey
Solo Charizard with smeargle
(Also a lot of other solo runs with random Pokémon but I honestly forgot what was what xD)

And I’ve also done venu v venu, blastoise v blastoise and charizard v charizard as Solo Raids
And you’ve seen the ones for meggy

There’s absolutely no chance I’d ever be able to come up with any of that stuff, seems like a ton of fun to come up with and implement though

I think the last event Raid I actually tried was either Greninja or Decidueye, I haven’t really been paying much attention to them since. I missed Mewtwo, but I’m not too fussed about that considering I can get one in BDSP

We’ll have to see what comes out in the future events for me to get back to it haha

Honestly a combination of Raid resets with a friend, and just doing tons of map Raids in my own time too. It’s a hell of a grind but way worth it for what it gets you. I also find the DLC dens are more generous for drops, since I’ve found more since it released tbh
