While it's called a "bird type" it's typing would be labeled as most closely to flying/normal...this was in response to the user who had got the crit done (most likely using a missingno if I had to guess) which is also why I said not to continue discussing it as Nintendo also warned against it despite everyone claiming the "good" that came from it back when it was first found because the chances were much, much higher for your game to glitch resulting in having to do a full wipe of your game (and sometimes even that didn't fix it - I watched that happen with my cousin's game - his red never worked right after he did the glitch)

This works by basically forcing the shiny to spawn, since nothing Ghost type can spawn here during the day for me. You can often get multiple shinies this way if you’re lucky

Absolutely, this trick is really neat to force a spawn. Sometimes it takes a little longer than others, but it’s all down to luck really. I’d say at worst it will take a few attempts
