You can do it on the menu anywhere, although you can also join there if you want. All you need is to be connected to the internet, and then select “Poké Portal” from the menu. Then hit Union Circle, then join group. My code is a bit above 🙂

On try 1, it died, but on try 2, I got a timely Crit catch. I do this with all my Pokémon, since it’s my favourite kind. It can cause some nervy moments, but otherwise, I think it’s underrated in terms of catch rate 🙂
