I did the outbreak method and scored a Hariyama and then got a second Iron Valiant from just a encounter boosting picnic. Oh, congratulations! I actually got my Iron Valiant the same way. As for Hariyama, it’s all good, as I have a shiny Makuhita. I haven’t played for a day or two, but if I can get online, I’ll see what outbreaks I have going on. If not, I’ll have much more time to play over the weekend. Everyone who takes part in a Tera Raid gets the rewards, but you can also join them via the Raid board, sure. It can be a bit tricky to join them, though, since they fill up quickly 🙂

Oh, no, unfortunately not. You can sometimes get Ability Patches from certain high-level event Raids, but no Herba 🙂

Yeah, all you can really do is keep trying. XP candies are a bonus imo, though, as well as Ability Capsules and Bottle Caps. Have you been using Raid Power sandwiches before taking them on, as those boost rewards dropped

Here's a quick refresher on how both players can encounter the same pokemon. Call me over, the person who spawned it in saves, then reloads after the other player encounters and catches the pokemon.

I’m not doing this until a bit later on, since I’d like to do some more work on my project, but I’ve come across two fantastic exploits for these two (as well as Scovillain, in Flareon’s case 🌶️🫑) and I’m looking forward to trying them out. I haven’t decided whether or not I’ll be doing this online, but I’ll gladly share the methods with those interested if I’d rather hunt alone to complete my set 🙂

If you spawned it, you should save your game first (before the other player encounters it) and let the other person catch it. Then you would reset, and the shiny would be there for you, since it’s your spawn 🙂

You could definitely try that area, either with Fighting or Steel sandwiches. With Fighting, you get families of Riolu and Lucario, as well as Hawlucha, which is another good shiny. With Steel, you’ll also get Cufant and Copperajah families, as well as more Lucario

Personally, I got my Riolu near Cortondo. If you fly to West Cortondo, and take an immediate left, hop over the river. You should come to a spot with dry grass, with a tunnel that comes out near Alfornada. I got mine there, but if you want a more varied hunt, I would try the spot near the Dragon Tamers 🙂

I kinda want to hunt a electric pokemon. So any you want is fine with me, except paradox pokemon.

Well the shiny Eeveelutions are all sorted for me now, so I do need something else to look for. In terms of non-Electric, I quite like Fomantis, Impidimp, and Snom/Frosmoth

I don’t particularly like hunting Paradoxes myself either 😆 As for missing Electric-types, I’m short of the Raichu, Ampharos, Bellibolt, Electrode, and Magnezone lines, as well as individuals like Dedenne, Rotom, and Pincurchin. There’s several options there, too, so I’m happy with whatever 🙂
