If you want a slightly more efficient than average method of shard-hunting, dig specifically in Pastoria City
The paths are more grid-like, meaning it's somewhat faster to get from one dig spot to the next
Also, there are several nearby caverns to reset the dig locations

You should be BLESSED to have a chain that high
It’s ~5% chance to even get to a chain of 40
For context I NEVER hit that during my Ralts hunt
