You nod, but notice the tree is far too tall to notice anything you do from down below so with a quick cough, clearing any phlegm you agree to the help.

"You humans have funny voices. Very well, you have the book, just hold it up and read the last three words backwards."

You flip to the back of the book. Aha! The last three words are written: "Cross the bridge."

You stare up at the tree, point down at the book and ask if these are the words but you noticed the tree seems less sentient than before.

Oh well, at least you had the answer now... you hope.
