Is it worth to spend the mega energy to mega evolve a Pidgeot if im going to be working from start on a Best Buddy Pidgey?

Mega evolution’s temporary, so unless you’re going to be doing some raids within the time limit I wouldn’t do it

Yeah definitely if you havent already mega’d a pidgeot, you get 5mega candy / 1km walked, if you’re taking it to best buddy you should get more than a few hundred mega candy so imo well worth it

Or evolve the pidgey you’re going to best buddy and mega that one, will still be the same walk/km and you can level up whenever you have the resources

Also if you’ve mega’d a different one already then you dont need to mega again (once you do one, all pokemon in the same family that you walk will gain energy) but I presume this is first time mega evoing any pidgeot so imo yes worth
