ye, machamp is very used in pve for gym battles and having it shadow with those IV makes it much better

you don't have too much dust tho and shadow are expensive to max out, so I'd suggest holding it until you have a bit more dust in acse there's anything else you'd like to max out instead

just heads up no one will be able to give you anything as 1) trading is in person only in pogo (100m trade limit), and 2) stats reroll on trade, so what was once a good iv pokemon can turn to utter crap on trade

One thing I'd suggest if you're not doing it is to learn/get used to do curve throws, at first it might look a bit hard but once you get the hang of it it's actually easier to make better throws like this

Not really, actually is more common to see a mon being an annoying little sh... attacking a lot and have awful almost the lowest IVs

Most of them usually are the ones with high CP

Grunts are also easier at lower levels^ started an alt with nothing and was beating grunts by level like 10-15 😅 just use your switches and fast moving charge move mons to stall as much as possible haha

Not really, but usually as people catch more Pokémon they tend to use lucky eggs for more exp. Reaching Max friendships get a good amount, and lucky egg is a boost

Ir can be done any other day, but it’s better if you take advantage of the egg instead of waste for just 1 max friendship

I just found a Noibat in the wild for the first time and I felt true pain when I saw I need 400 candies to evolve it to Noivern. They haven’t done something like that since Hoenn Pokémon so I thought they abandoned doing that

Imo wait till you need it / have enough to power the shadow one up pretty well as you might find a better one (normal or shadow) , wouldnt bother much with the first one unless you just have an absurd amount of swinub candy and need some ice types for raids then high cp so cheap option but you’ll certainly find better

Yeah master league is a tough spot tbh, but for just general use you shouldnt need tooo much ice (however gira O is coming up in raids but thats also weak to other things so can mix n match), tbh tho that shadow is good and if you have the resources put it up

I'd purify the second one. I think it'd reach 14/15/15 (check in PokeGenie first to get a better idea). Mamoswine is good for Master League, and it'd cost less dust to power up

Also, if it gets 14/15/15 purified, it'd be rank 2 (rank 1 is hundo)

Yes keep all shadow legends as unless you have stacked up extra giovanni rocket radars (only given out via research) you can only get one of each shadow legendary (for now atleast until they bring them back in rotation maybe eventually if ever and certain exceptions like 2 or 3 shadow Mewtwos but again if you only have the one do not get rid of it)

It’ll come back around in raids eventually, those special research challenges are intended to be completed in the given time-frame but they still give you certain ones so long as you long in during a specified event time (like the Mew/Celebi (non-shiny) come back yearly, etc) , also the rewards are pretty trash for that one anyways and you’ll need all 3 genies so honestly just wait it out and dont pay it much mind

whilst we're on the topic of pvp, when ultra league comes around, how can I improve my team? I use Machamp, Espeon and Sylveon in that order

My Mantine and Stunfisk are at 1498 so they’re pretty close to the limit. My Vigoroth has 1483

My Ultra League team probably isn’t amazing but I use a Gyarados, Hippowdon, and Torterra. Torterra’s really slow but it can get the job done while Hippowdon I have it know Ice Fang for its fast move and Earth Power for the charged attack. Gyarados I have bite and hydro pump.

All three like my great league team are close to the limit in the 2400 range for CP

also the CP is 2496 for Machamp and Sylveon and 2500 for Espeon. Machamp has Cross Chop and Rock Slide, Espeon has Shadow Ball and Psychic and Sylveon has Psyshock and Dazzling Gleam

Yes, for both Little Jungle Cup and Great League, as it has fight moves but won't be weak against fairy or flying types. And attacks charge pretty fast, good for spamming attacks

Depends on which league you're running, as you may face lots of Registeel and Cresselia in the regular one. Which are pretty bulky. While in premier, things may change a bit

I used Greedent, Gallade and Umbreon for UL. Did decent, not the best... but not too bad

Only requirements ya need, walk it 10km, evolve at night, keep it as your buddy through evolution, people make the mistake of removing it as their buddy and then evolving it.

Yeah, once it shows in your camera, you rub it's head or belly until it's happy. Then it'll come out and walk with you

in the overworld you can't do much but tap and they jump all happy. you need to go to the buddy screen for most of the action (feed berry, you can swipe at it to rotate 360 etc)
