Costume Zig and Pony are probably at Permaboost rates (1 in 64ish)

It's been fairly well determined that each mon has a global shiny rate, and that won't be impacted by the method the mon is encountered by.

So if, say, Deino is a 1 in 64 shiny rate (Which it probably is, but that's not definite.), it'll be a 1 in 64 rate in the wild, in raids, in eggs etc.

how are you aiming? if you're patient with throwing you really shouldn't be struggling to catch that many (unless it's like latias or something small and annoying)

as a general rule i just stick to great curves if i don't think i can hit the excellent, and only throw after it attacks
