You can but you have to be driving very slow usually because if you’re driving fast or on a freeway etc the game will know and you usually can’t encounter much, if anything

Yeah driving anything over like 20km an hour you will stop getting spawns and be lucky if you can still spin stops (some will still let you if you just spam spin em back and forth lol) but if playing in a downtown core with a lot of stop/go // waiting in traffic then yeah you’ll find quite a bit!

Yeah. TheSilphRoad has a reasonably accurate list of what pokes are at what odds, but it's missing a fair few.

Generally speaking:
1 in 10ish odds - Explicitly named Raid Days (Lickitung, Alolan Marowak etc).
1 in 20ish odds - Legendaries.
1 in 25ish odds - Community Day mons specifically on Community Day (they'll go back to their normal odds after the day).
1 in 64ish odds - Baby forme mons, shadow shinies, most raid-exclusive mons, several "hard to find" mons, most Alolan formes etc.
1 in 128ish odds - Definitely Gible, possibly Deino. Probably Mega-Raid pokes.
1 in 500ish odds - Everything else.

(Also, it's worth bearing in mind that not all mons can be shiny, the shiny form often gets "unlocked" later on down the line from release)

So by transferring a Pokemon to a Let's Go game, or Pokemon HOME, that unlocks the "Mystery Box" in your items.

This is essentially a Meltan-specific incense that will allow you to catch as many Meltans as you want whilst the timer is running! (And yes, this will be increased if Incenses currently have their time extended)

You can activate it whenever you want, it doesn't happen instantly after transfer.

After 3 days, if you transfer another pokemon, you can recharge the box to catch more Meltans.

Currently, you have a chance of encountering a shiny Meltan, but that will stop when the current event stops in 4 days time, so I'd recommend trying to do a box in the next day or so to get two boxes that have a shiny chance.

Even without Pinaps, if you catch all 70ish that you'll get from the box, that's 210 candies. Probably closer to 250 once you'e deleted the ones you don't want.

Given that all you have to do is wait 3 days and transfer one of the awful mons you get from your daily spawn to HOME, you don't massively need Pinaps before you're swamped in Meltan candies. ^^;

If you can see it on your map but arent next to the raid, you can use a “Remote Raid Pass” to join it from afar, same with if someone invites you to a raid!

Dont worry too much about low CP pokemon, try getting in a lobby that is big enough to essentially just “carry” you! Check out #pogo_raids (kinda dead atm as people getting bored of Deoxys) but this is where you’ll find / be able to join legendary raids and the like!

Yeah. It's normally about two months or so later than the Go Fest release. They've done this for the past few years with Celebi, Jirry and Victini. Go Fest gets early access, the rest get slightly delayed access, with extra candy given to the Go Festers.

You can transfer pokemon to Sword and Shield through Let's GO, but it's not a necessity to do it that way, you can do it through HOME. It's also not a necessity to have HOME premium either, just the bog standard HOME will do. If you have/make a HOME account, then tap the settings in PoGo, and scroll down, there's an option called Pokemon HOME. If you follow through that, you'll be able to transfer pokemon over to HOME, and then over to Sword/Shield. 😄

yea but the “Transporter” to send from Go -> Home takes time to recharge, so if you send a shiny mythical, it uses like all the energy then takes bout a week to recharge (can send about 5 standard shinys a week / 1 shiny legend )

If you have let’s go, send any shinys you want to there as its free to send them to lets go then you can move them to home from there then to swsh if you so wish arkeknine

If you have a second phone, or know someone with one, you could ask them nicely if they wouldn't mind you borrowing their phone for an afternoon. Elsewise I don't really have any suggestions. You could try contacting Niantic support via the ingame settings, but I've not heard people have much success on that front.

Does anyone have issues with adventure sync. I’m not really on pokemon go very often but whenever I do open it it never seems to sync up to even that days steps or distance. I’ve had the issue pretty much the whole time even when I did regularly use pokemon go (all settings on app and the app it pulls data from are enabled)

poliwhirlkek i send out pinsir first, use x-scissor to get rid of some shields, and if pinsir is weak against the mon i'm against, i usually send out blaziken to knock out and then use seaking to do the rest
