You can either get someone to touch trade you the legendary you need (non go version) and after that you're free to move the go version in. I already had the non go legends in home so I simply moved it to my shield game, and after that you're allowed to move the go version in too. It's kinda like touch trading or moving things in to get the pokedex entry
