You’re right, I just really hate to miss out. Since I’ve started collecting the 25th anniversary big card sets it’s the only thing I’ve been buying every month.
I just didn’t want to miss out on the shining fates so that’s when I went a little more crazy.
I check the pokemoncenter website daily and have lucked out on a few cards that way. Was happy to get the Rapidash set for $20 versus seeing it be sold for $30+

Yeah I understand, few sets like that, hidden fates is one especially, every hidden fates product on any Australian site was overpriced, tins were $70 at the cheapest, the etb’s $200 so I went to uk sites, found tins for $50 and etb’s for $150, it was a set I didn’t want to miss even though I didnt come back until the hype for it was already dead
