My understanding of the article posted by TSR was that if my shiny suicune was received in a trade where myself or my partner forced the lucky then I burned 1 of my 10 guarantees.

If it was a rando condition then I still have my 10 guarantees.

It can be as simple as bringing a trash bag with you to the park, picking up trash, then tweeting a picture of the full trash bag with that hashtag and tagging Niantic.

This is a shared event/week with the other Niantic games (Ingress Prime and Harry Potter: Wizards Unite), so players of all 3 games will be doing this to get rewards.

in the past, there's been a ton of participation in events like these. They usually seem to do Earth Day events that revolve around cleaning up our environment. But I think those were community-centered events. This seems like an event geared toward individuals, since we're still in the middle of the pandemic.
it'll be interesting to see how many get done because of people self-quarantining.

I'm too lazy though, and my community doesn't have many public places to visit to help clean.
That, and I'll be suffering through my second dose of the vaccine then so I'm going to stay home.

^ not 100% sure but in my experience it’s not affecting everyone, i’ve had friendship xp bonuses pop up on screen and the xp was gained too ( no best friends tested but Ultra/Great level both worked fine for me) ~ so maybe test with a low level friend first and see if its working for you^ not 100% sure tho so look more into it could just be with lucky eggs/best friends, idrk bc i havent been seeing that much about it

Your stardust and stuff increases the higher you go, you get an elite tm I think at 17 or 19? Fuzzy on that one, after each certain rank up you unlock more Pokémon you can encounter, it generally gets more rare the higher you are, at the end of every season you get a bunch of rewards including a stack of dust you can stare piece (150,000 is the max I’m pretty sure) another elite tm and bunch of other stuff.

Pvp is worth investing in for sure, you gain way more than you’ve invested.

And if you haven’t unlocked it, I think at rank 10 you get pikachu libre costume for your avatar

Your “b” pokemon are weak to the same types. Your “a” pokemon is the pokemon you lead with and beats the counters to your “b” pokemon. You usually safe swap into one of the “b” pokemon unless their counter is already in the lead. If it sounds confusing (probably cause my explanations usually suck ) feel free to ask further

How can one avoid being dead weight in raids?

I'm level 29 and most of my higher cp pokemon are 1900s to 1600s

I have one perfect iv gengar thats not maxed out yet, but is 2426, and a 3 star but not perfect dragonite thats 23xx and a 200xx arcanine(1 star though) and rhydon.

Is it better to go with recommended pokemon in raids or just highest cp mons?

Is my cp lower than average for my level?

If anything just make sure folks know you’re level 29 and you’ll be fine. There’s ton of folks offering to host for newer peeps and the only way you’ll get better mons is raiding or leveling up what ya got

you only need 25 candy + glacial lure for glaceon, and eevee is a fairly common spawn

you can always ask your bf to send his eevees your way! if you trade 25+ and transfer you’ll get enough candy to evolve, and since lucky odds are 1/20 iirc you might even get a lucky!
