Also I'm pretty sure I do know what the "glitch" is, if you throw a ball and the Pokemon escapes , it still shows that you caught a pokemon in the quest bar.

So I'm pretty sure that's the issue. Some people think they caught a pokemon seeing x+1 / 30 days in the quest bar, but the pokemon actually escaped.
I've heard of people saying the they have a pokemon from each day (as they can see in the catching date of each mon) but never seen an actual proof...

If you dont open pokemon go, you should be able to hatch the egg and then just wait till you know you’ve gone (x) amount of km’s then it doesnt trigger the adventure sync until you load up pogo for the first time after 9am in the day !

yep an interaction in either direction counts for raising friendship

if the person has a blue outline around them, you've done your interaction for the day

actually I just found out recently that if you click fast enough on friends list to check if the person took your gift, and then click fast enough on the bag for the lucky egg, it will still double the exp 😬
^^^^ Only when you open the game, if someone takes your gift while you are playing it's a rip

It gotta be before the friendship increase message appears and before you see +100k exp on the bottom left

I imagine that eventually rusty bottlecaps (demoting an IV to 0) will be added to the mainline games... there's no reason not to at this point. Even HA patch was added. So, I would definitely not hypertrain a shiny mew's attack like... ever. Use a regular Mew for a weird atk build
