it was a really bad mechanic where if you raided at a particular gym (the ones you see with 'ex raid gym' label) and enough people raided at in during a week (but no one was exactly sure what was enough) you could get an exclusive raid pass called an ex raid that spawned at a certain time each week. it was how mewtwo, genesect was initially released before it came out in proper L5 raids

but it was bad because it was usually at times where most people couldn't raid, it used to rotate throughout the week, and the actual time of the raid was random

so i could only do ex raids when they were on weekends, which was like a maybe twice every few months, assuming i got a pass -_-

That’s why it’s one of the most coveted Pokémon, since most of the shiny Mew from that are hacks/clones and anyone who has a legit one definitely isn’t giving it up

It’s honestly not a bad deal, everyone going off like you’re paying just for one Pokémon, you also get the shiny boost with majority of the kanto shines and you probably have more access to the new shines too, it’s equivalent to go fest at this point it’s just shorter.

I also have Let’s Go so the Go park will be really helpful for shiny Pokémon storage without dealing with the transporter

Yeah Go Park has it’s uses sometimes. Shiny Mew probably will be the only thing that can’t be sent to the Go park though, everything else is golden

That is true, if it was possible you could also catch it in a great, ultra, or premier ball since those are options in Let’s Go

Yeah normal Mew can’t be transferred into Let’s Go, so the only way to get Mew in Let’s Go is to get a Pokéball Plus Controller (which isn’t cheap) and there will be one in it. I accidentally redeemed it in Sword though so it can’t go into Let’s Go, on the bright side it has a Galar origin mark which is nice

The gotcha is the best out of the three by far.

The ball is basically the plus.

It spins stops automatically if there’s a mon in it but you have to press it to catch mons when it vibrates

Gotcha was just automatic in both aspects if you wanted it to be

Interesting to learn, could be helpful for the spin 151 unique pokéstops for the Mew research

One good thing about rural areas is that pokéstop nomination thing you eventually unlock. Also I’m not sure if it helped, but around my area a place that used to only be a pokéstop became a gym which was surprising but useful

You can still level up in a rural place with friendship, but stops now that’s a different story.

Honestly, this Go-Tracker is a life saver. I use it as much as I can for events. It’s basically a super pokeball plus. It’s the updated new version of the Gotcha Evolve. ||Very over priced, don’t buy it unless you absolutely need it for all the control functions and for the 4 pokemon you can cram into it at once like a pokeball plus.||
