The issue with transferring things from go is that if they're not in the dex, like celebi, you have to have one in your boxes to even be able to transfer it from home to sword

So just to clarify, you can't send the Mewtwo to pokemon home at all. Any costume pokemon can't be sent. Shadows can't be sent either. Purified pokemon lose the purified aura. There's other stipulations for certain pokemon, but this is mainly can/can't be transferred.

As for the dex

Say you have rayquaza you want to send to sword or shield

If you haven't registered rayquaza to your pokedex or have it in your boxes, you cannot bring a rayquaza from PoGo.

@fast copper I could transfer my mythicals from Go and I didn't have any of them in my box (genesect, victini, Jirachi), but when I tried to help someone else from the server, he couldn't transfer until the Pokemon was in his box. and there was another person who needed help with Mew, and just a touch-trade worked for him without keeping Mew in his Box.
So I am not quite sure how that exactly works, but from my own experience it's possible to transfer from home without having the Pokemon in your box.

It's Mythicals that don't have a dex entry. Some of them can transfer if you have the items or something like that. If you collect the drives for Genesect then return the Pokemon to the person helping, you can transfer Genesect in afterwards. There's still a lot that's weird about it

It may also have something to do with saving your boxes in home before sending it back as well

Well I never had Genesect at all in my save file until I transferred mine , it was really weird.
And yes, I also think there is something with saving your boxes in Home, I used to mess a lot with my boxes in Home at that time

Because the beasties come out for raids individually one after another.

It’s possible to get perfect IV mons at any level, there’s no increased chances the higher you level up, also if a group of players level 30 or higher find a 100IV, a lower level player can catch that identical mon but will have different stats.

One of the easiest ways to get your phones information stolen is by leaving on bluetooth and wifi when you’re not connected to anything out in public. By leaving them on your phone is constantly sending out a signal bouncing off of other devices internally searching for access points and it’s extremely easy for hackers at public locations to see which device is whos of the surrounding people, get into their cellphone or laptops information very easily without any password access at all and take whatever they want and walk away with out you knowing a thing. I’m always worried for that kind of stuff so I either use a VPN at all times or I completely turn off Wifi and Bluetooth completely from the phone system settings.

Maybe the ballon timed out. I’ve had it where I’ve had the balloon and a stop at the same time and it didn’t disappear. Can’t remember if it was only grunts or a leader but I’ve had it both at the same time.

i've got a question regarding shadow pokemon- is it a good or bad idea to purify them? i've heard people say both sides.

if you're using it for raids etc generally you want them not purified because they have better attacking power and most raids favour glass cannons

The main bottleneck for the quest will be Step 5 which has "Catch a Ditto" as part of it. that is one you just have to get very lucky for at the moment as there's no consistent way to get it. You just have to keep catching from the pool of pokemon it can transform into
