So I have a question about the friendship leveling again

I have a friend and I can send them a gift right now and it will be the final gift for them to become an ultra friend. If I send the gift does that count as the friend level exp for the day and if so should I use my egg right now so I can get the extra exp really quick?

The best part is I can take them from multiple save files from different profiles on the switch so If I wanted to I could take them off 4 Sword profiles and level them up and put them back into all 4 sword profiles or even do 2 sword profiles and 2 shield

I would personally recommend using the settings in the Pokémon GO app to change the behavior of the Gotcha.
Turning off auto catch so you can choose what to catch yourself (without toggling "Catch Pokémon" off in POGO Settings) will still have the GO Plus "target" Pokémon without spinning stops.
If you turn off "Catch Pokémon" in the GO Plus Settings in Pokémon GO, your Gotcha will ignore all Pokémon and just spin nearby stops.

I personally always have Auto-Catch and Auto-Spin on with the "New Species" setting set to not auto catch.
If there's something nearby that I want to catch, I just quickly turn off bluetooth or the Gotcha, catch it, then turn it back on.
If I want to restock Pokeballs without catching, I turn off Pokémon in the GO Plus settings in-app.
I will likely never mess with the Gotcha companion app.

Yeah I guess it doesn't do much more than a Gotcha evolve.
Honestly, I only have a Gotcha evolve because it's super hard to find the original Gotcha. And having a built-in charger is kinda nice, so I don't have to keep up with yet another charger.

Oh, nvm. The server requires 30+. If you can get to lvl 30 they’ll allow you in there. It’s so that professional raiders don’t have to struggle with lower level players potentially messing up a raid and people don’t lose their passes as often. But I can show you a screen shot of it I guess.

Well, yes and no. for the regionals, It's impossible to get all the 151 Pokemon's in one day if you couldn't catch the regional pokemons, and they already said that the trade distance will be extended to 40km which is not far enough to trade with people from other regions. That means the regionals will be included somehow in the tour, has a research encounter or a wild encounter.
However you will need a friend (or an account) who picked the version you didn't choose (red or green) to trade the version exclusives.
