If you're going to spend money on Pokemon GO, I'd heavily suggest that most people invest in getting a Go-tcha.
You probably won't run out of balls after getting one, as long as you are near a couple stops.

It's not a Legacy move, since you can always relearn it. But the Type will never change, even if you TM it away and TM it back.

Only time it will change is if you get a Pokémon in a trade that knows Hidden Power, TM that Hidden Power away, and TM Hidden Power back onto it.
But it's honestly not worth doing since Hidden Power isn't that great of a move in GO.

Incinerate is far better for Ho-Oh than Hidden Power.
Hidden Power was actually only decent for Ho-Oh for a time, because that was the only way for it to have a Fire-type Fast Move. And only if you were lucky.
But Incinerate is just a better move and also guaranteed Fire-type.

@clever hedge as of right now only way to get shiny mu on this game. It will probably be a task that you have to do and once you get it done you will get it. If you’re missing Pokémon from kanto it is worth it to help fill in dex or get shiny of Rare stuff that you can’t get in your region. But it all really boils down to the point do you want to spend that much money on the game.

I want to stress that I think Niantic has fucked the raid catch rate as well. I’ve almost always managed to catch the legendary raid bosses on one encounter. It took me 2 raids to catch Regirock, 3 times to catch Registeel, and I just whiffed my first Regice. Honestly this pisses me off more than the other stuff we complain about.

I was aiming for lvl 40 also for that Gyrados hat but I’m almost lvl 34. It’s not physically possible even with every available method for exp rushed to it’s maximum potential for 24 hours straight no breaks for me to get lvl 40 no matter how hard I tried. Just enjoy the game at your own pace.

Spotlight hours only have increased spawns, like almost community day spawn like, but the shiny rates are kinda the normal ones

and usually bonuses like double stardust, exp, candy

depends on the day

spotlight hours are always on tuesdays at 6pm in your local time

The only time I did that mission was during my rush to legacy 40. Most of my throws ended up being excellent throws because I was rushing so hard

I barely pulled off legacy 40, and it took me 26 days to hit it, from level 35. 8-9 days were dedicated to level 39->40
