if it's a Pokemon that had a CD in 2019 or 2020, you can leave it unevolved, TM it on Thursday, then evolve it during CD to get the exclusive move

The Kalos event already ended and the nest change doesn't change spawns outside of nests.

Nests are areas where 1 Pokémon spawns with more frequency than others. Common areas for nests are parks.
