Yeah it seems like remote raiding has pretty much killed the game for a lot of regions, putting players into little silos so they never have to work together with anyone else

I honestly don't think thats the case. We see with local-only content, most people just ignore it. I don't think remote raiding has made people less social, but instead made certain content more accessible. More people do raids now than before remote raids. I think the lack of local groups is more of societal change. People arent willing to go out as much to do outdoor social stuff with random people like they were pre-pandemic

Particularly Pokemon stuff. The pandemic made a lot of people that never cared much for Pokemon, but picked the game up during the hype, uninstall it and never look back

The game lost a lot of momentum it had. Remote raids filled the gap but with different content. Post pandemic you can't translate that back into local content.

Yeah exactly. 100%. Is there less local momentum now compared to 2019 and earlier? Yes. Are remote raids the root cause of this? I dont think so. I think they are a bandaid solution to help retain players despite the local momentum being less. Not the cause. For all of Niantic's faults, I think remote raids are one of the smartest decisions they made and a big reason so many players stick with the game at all at this point. Without remote raids, I dont think we'd have much more local traffic, but we also would have less players in general anyway

We just live in a different world than we did half a decade ago, and stuff like remote raids are attempting to adapt to that, not the cause of it

Definitely not the worst, but thats because there's some really awful ones out there. I dont think people realize that it can almost always get worse, and many companies have already tried to push that extreme. Its bad though, yes.

so I think there is something wrong in pokemon go. I switched my buddy to a 1km candy buddy, beedrill. I did it to complete the earn 5 candy walking with my buddy. After using adventure sync, hatching a 5km egg and reaching max hearts from walking I am only at .8 out of 1km till a candy appears.

Different species can get much higher cp, many good mons do reach high cps but it's not a direct relationship

I wouldn't worry about it for now. Likely nothing will change short term, and most stuff still has to get approved by the Pokemon Company because of how protective they are over their IP. Also the same dev team is staying on, so thats a good sign. Scopely will more act like the publisher here, so events, prices, marketing, and other stuff like that might change longterm, but we just dont know enough yet.

99% of stuff comes back eventually. Just gotta be patient. This game is for sure a marathon, not a sprint. Im still waiting for the legendary johto dogs to be in normal raids so I can move on with my shiny celebi research most of the platinum medals take at minimum a year of consistency. Some take many years. If you've been playing for a year, its likely you're at low level 40 or lower rn (with 50 levels total). This game is definitely a slow grind. You'll be rewarded if you're patient

Lick is slightly faster a move than pound so snorlax might be better than blissey to charge for gmax raids, idk how much the extra bulk matters so might depend on the boss, but if you ever really have to fall back on snorlax for being the attacker, feels like gmax won't be a big difference maker. And you'd really never have to bring it for the purpose of being the attacker.

So if dmax snorlax comes out in a relatively short amount of time (even tho it probably won't), won't really care that I'm definitely not gonna be able to beat the gmax one lol

I can just see it being a nice wall into like gengar raids and then yeah phantasm would be a better fallback than gmax normal, tho you're probably screwed if it comes to that lol

Yeah most people don't purify to get rid of frustration, since that would not be worth it at all. Shadow mons get a damage boost for being shadow, so a shadow at 0/0/0 with the same moves as a normal version is always better outside of situations where you need to take a lot of dmg (they take more dmg). Frustration is removed very easily if youre patient. Just need to use a normal tm during rocket takeover events which happen at least once per season (seasons are like 3 months). And there's no rush. No point ruining a shadow, which is usually harder to get than a normal version, just to remove a move thats free to remove during a different time period. so yeah
Tl;dr - dont purify it. Remove frustration next rocket event with a normal tm. This goes for most shadows
