The main thing for shadows is you can use multiple unlike megas. Every raid team can only have 1 mega, but all 6 slots can be shadows. So you can have 1 mega and still have 5 shadows which usually can outdamage non-shadow non-mega mons

That's where their pve usefulness comes from

Because megas will often be stronger, but you still need to fill 5 slots

you will never ever see me with 5 shadows in one raid squad, i just relobby

cant be asked to spend 1m dust for like 3-4 shadows when i just top left, max revive, fight

and they are pretty new to the game so shadows shouldnt be the big focus imo, maybe for pvp but otherwise shadows just take too much dust and candy to be useful for newer players

Ngl, I've always seen the backlash against battlepasses as an overreaction compared to the other monetization methods companies use. I agree that unnecessary monetization is bad, but in games like pogo where we're already getting bombarded with event passes, all this means is more free rewards for everyone since there is always a free track, with the option to upgrade and get really good value on resources if willing to spend money. They always make battlepasses have insane value, so if you're gonna spend money anyway, it's a good thing. I'd rather a battle pass compared to more events tickets for every event that just offer some increased exp and candy for an hour for 1/3 the price of a battlepass that lasts longer term and has much better value.

Also 2nd victini is cool. They say everyone can get it with the paid battlepass, even if they have one. If this is their way of giving us more copies of mythicals we only get 1 of so far, I'm down

Shadow Garde (Fairy) is the only thing that's not outclassed harshly. Neither can compete with Mewtwo for Psychic damage, and Gallade's Fighting moves hold it back from even being talked about.

Idk if gmax makes some crazy difference but basically needed mushrooms (+particle packs to even join more than 1-2) to deal with it with level ~35-40 metagross, pretty costly, probably won't even bother with the other 2, spares the stardust building bad counters anyways

Gigantimax does make a pretty major difference and so do shrooms, yeah. Without those things, it's basically a hard requirement of 4 people, which sucks since that's also the max that can join

I mean, a lot of people don't want to fill the requirements for one from home or want one with their own OT. Also even for the people who already did do the stuff to get one in home, this offers a 2nd one. All of pomemon collecting is "useless" and we have arbitrary goals and stuff. This is a game afterall. A shiny mythical that isn't widely available normally is pretty appealing to a large amount of people for whatever their reason, just like shinies in general.

The use for a lot of people is just collection purposes anyway. Why do people hunt shinies in general? None of this has a use lol.

When you power it up its level goes up by 0.5 so there are many different cps the hundo could be, wild mons are always an integer I think tho so anywhere from lvl 1 (cp10) to level 30/35 (wild w/o vs. w/ weather boost, cp462/cp500 respectively) are possible

For example a research mon is level 15 so you'd be looking for a cp231 ralts for the hundo if it's from research

(And Level 51 is just for a maxed power up mon with the best buddy bonus)

tldr just catch everything cuz unless it's like cp500 you won't really know if it's a hundo or not b4 catching it or using a calculator

Diancie, definitely not unless you already have it. The other 3 you get normally from progression through the other mythical researches, and like I said, you can pick up a shiny meloetta in like less than a month if you're willing to pay money

Although you'll likely unlock and finish the normal meloetta research by the time you finish the paid shiny meloetta masterwork research

So basically, you can get 3 of them normally by doing the mythical research. They unlock after you reach certain points in the game and are always available. Diancie has only come from limited time events, so that one you can't currently get. There will almost definitely be more opportunities to get Diancie, but none right now

The Max Move animations have been glitched since Articuno entered the fray and sometimes just don't play at all. But they do take effect

You'll just see your Max Move count go down to 2/1/0 without anything visually happening

Though if you're on the receiving end of over 35, your counter also goes up, and you can't send any old Pokemon anymore

For example: I traded my 10 2016 Pokemon initially, then when I visited home I traded 10 from my mother and my sister who no longer played, so my counter was at 30+ even when the limit was 10.

When they increased the limit, I tried to trade again, but no luck

And I had already quite a few lucky Pokemon before I even traded my own 10
