Well first of all, a "suburban" area would be directly next to an urban area, which is also known as a big city, so I don't think that half of your claim really supports your argument. As for the rural part, can you back up your claim that "most people" live in that kinda area?

I get that the game is inconvenient or impossible for some people, but as long as events/raids/spawns are tied to real world locations, somebody is going to be left out... So I don't really see the point in complaining about it for years on end. Just go play a different game

Im personally ok with missing them, at least as long as they have no purpose outside of the same content, but it's still bad design. A plane ticket shouldn't be an obstacle to enjoy a major feature in a game. That's not even smart for profits, let alone for player retention or player opinion. Suburban doesn't necessarily mean right next to a city here either. It could mean an hour away from a city. It's more of a town setup that isn't far enough to be rural. An hour drive isn't a good obstacle for semi-weekly content.
And if these obstacles exist (they do), telling people "if you're asking for change, just quit" is not a good or adequate response. Even if it only affects 5% of players, with a game that has millions of active players, that isn't something that should be ignored. Just because it doesn't effect everyone, or even most people, doesn't mean it isn't worth thinking about

Mega Lucario is probably optimal for that, followed by Mega heracross. But if you don't have them, you're not getting them rn. Any strong fighting type works tbh. You can get normal Lucario (Riolu aka the baby) from 5km (adventure sync) eggs and just evolve and use that (non mega version). If you dont want to wait for eggs, next best normal mons you can get easily are Machamp and Haryiama

Shaymin does have more time gates to its research though and that's the big hurdle for that one

It seems like there might be some system where dynamax options don't go away, unlike regular raids. I'm sure there's more to it than that, but all of them still seem to show up. Could be a bug? We've known about the kyruems for a week+ now, and they still show up. So it's hard to tell what is intended and what's a bug

I know some people think the backgrounds are lazy, especially since it only matters in pogo and not if transfered or anything BUT I personally like it. Gives more uniqueness to stuff. In a game largely about collecting, more BGs are an easy way to give more personality to catches

Also the com day holiday BG looks good imo, although that's obviously subjective. I think it looks like a true backdrop, which I personally like. Makes it seem like your mon is on a stage or in a photoshoot

In what? Although the answer is kinda the same no matter what. It's not good in pve or pvp. Not really used anywhere. The shadow version is like a low-mid tier option for raids if you're a new player. But even then, that's the best it gets. The normal has no use anywhere tbh

There's that very niche use in PvE for the shadow version with Party Power + Lock On/Blizzard, but even there it's hardly worth the resources... And it'll probably be Kyurem's party soon

it's held back by its moveset so the only real good thing about it is to the type boosts when it's mega'd

Mega Diance is one of the best rock type attackers for raids, but it's slightly outperformed by Mega Tyranitar because it's so frail. Can dish out a lot of damage though

Not at all true, it's actually the best Rock mega as its Attack is sky mountain high

(Shadow Ramp is ahead, Shadow Rhyperior is about even)

Yeah, Mega Tyranitar does less damage, but has more bulk so it lasts longer, but there are definitely situations for both. If you want a rock Mega for raids, Mega Diance is definitely a main choice

Those are usually the 2 megas people use when they need a rock type

Diance if you need raw damage, Tyranitar if you need to last longer

Might also take into consideration that Diancie will probably be level 40, but Tyranitar is more likely to be at 50

In short fights, definitely go Mega Diance

Mega Aerodactyl shows up near the top in these lists, but is strictly worse than both of these alternatives. It does similar dps to Mega TTar, but has similar bulk to Mega Diance, making it just worse in every situation unless you don't have Diance or TTar

I finally got myself a hundo Zebstrika

Has been YEARS

I just solod it but it took 2 tries to figure it out. Needed a maxed 3700 Metagross, maxed 3000 Machamp, and a 2300 Cinderace, and it wasn't easy. I found it easier than Falinks was originally, but yeah...these 3 stars are not easy to solo. Gmax would probably make them easier but I live in a rural area...

You could also probably use a max mushroom and double your damage, but not sure if it's worth it

I was using 2 2.5k charizards (dmax) and a hundo excadrill and nearly neat it like 3 times

Didn't think to use mushrooms, but they are so expensive it's not worth it for me

Yeah, I think it also matters what moves it has. If it's using water pulse... your fire mons are dead in 1 or 2 shots

One thing I will say is dmax battles allowing you to enter and leave and not using up your entry cost if you don't finish the raid is super nice. Need that for normal raids now

You'd think wasting a raid pass would be bad enough, but apparently not. So many people leeching in the lobby/dropping/just not looking at their phone

I just tried a shadow Pincir raid with two level 50 players who got in, hit the enrage, and then dropped after I wasted all my shadow gems

The answer, of course, is to not make passes/gems get used up until the raid is cleared
