How do people feel about Dynamax so far?

I like how I don't get kicked out of Max Raids from being too far away, so I can fight them on the bus lol

I also don't really mind Dynamax pokemon being in its own economy, but if they're keeping em separate from other pokemon in an entire mode they should be able to have their own candy for upgrading them

So that it doesn't feel like building non-dynamax pokemon is taking resources from us building dynamax pokemon

If we had a lot of Dynamax specific candy that dropped from doing Max Raids, I would be able to worry less on using candy on non-Dynamax mons

Cp basically tells you what level they are. As for knowing what's meta (which basically means what's good) there are a ton of guides out there

You don't need to know exactly level of your Pokémon but if you want you can you pokegenie to check what level it is

But every time a raid comes back, people like daxi, a pogo youtuber, posts videos saying what the best raid attackers for that raid are. Also, a ton of people post graphics that say what the best counters are for each raid when they come back, and you can also always just ask here

The short of it is that higher cp when catching is likely higher level. There is wiggle room for IVs, but don't confuse yourself with that yet. Just know, if you see an unevolved mon in the wild with higher than normal cp, then it's likely a higher level.

LPT: If you catch a Pokemon and the cost to power it up is 7000 dust, its level is 33 or 34. If the cost is 8000, it's 35 (maximum possible boosted by weather)

Premier balls aren't obtainable. You get them from raids and they can only be used in that raid you just completed. Also sometimes research forces you to use one. But you can't have them in your bag or anything. And if you have the option to use a premier ball, you can't use anything else

Also the research encounter can't run, so it didn't matter what you used

Unless you have a master ball, those are useable instead of a premier ball, but only useful if you’re on your last ball and it’s a Hundo.

Also this kinda tells us that the ray makeup day was a 1-time thing and not a change of heart. A lot of people had hope after that that they were doing something different in the grand scheme/plan

If I was arguing for my own personal wants, then I would be saying that the game needs to be rebuilt from scratch basically so that things requiring local play are all soloable, and then have a robust online matchmaking system for group play

This team just barely solod one that had no damage boosts (like 1 charged move away from death) and my metagross has max level mindstorm

What I learned:

• if it has megahorn as it's normal move just leave and restart lmao it's not even fair, reroll till it's brick break or something
• charizards fucking useless except to eat some moves
• max spirit (heal) is kinda fucking useless just use the shield instead
• max defense boost is reallllly powerful it blocks all damage for a few hits where like superpower would normally take half a metagross HP away
• dodging just like doesn't work at all? Don't expect to be able to spare somethings life

It is harder than Beldum imo, but still soloable. I did it with Metagross (3.6k), Charizard (2.2k), and Blastoise (2.2k). Took a few attempts, but as said above, the key is to keep Blastoise or Charizard on the field to take the blows and then dynamax into Metagross. 1 shield and 2 attacks is good for dynamax. Make sure your Metagross has the psychic fast AND charge move. Psychic (the chaege attack) does close to the same sized chunk of dmg as the maxed out max move does with zen headbutt as your fast move. I did it with a +5 attack bonus from people who came before me. Try to find a dynamax raid that other people have already done for that sweet attack boost.

Definitely don't discount normal moves. The dynamax attacks are nice, but you still do a lot of your dmg from your normal fast and charged attacks

So elemental advantage is in play (psychic, fairy, flying)

Also remember your dynamax attack is based on the type of your fast attack

No, Go legends can be sent to home they can't go into mainline games if you don't have a regular version of that pokemon in the game. So in this case he'd need someone with a Sword Zacian in SV that they transferred in using home and then they can bring their Go Zacian into the game

In the main games Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist have 4 forms related to size, Small, medium, large, and super sized, which alter stats like speed/bulk accordingly.

The forms seem to carry into pogo as their own kind of sub species so you can have a small XXL pumpkaboo (relative to other XXL pumpkaboo) because they're all super sized

Meanwhile you could have an enormous XS pumpkaboo relative to other XS pumpkaboo so the game goes wow that things way bigger than you'd expect and deems it the tallest, which is weird but hey pumpkins be crazy.

I like zama's shiny, but it's hard to justify investing many resources into farming it's shiny when it kinda sucks. Like I'm not a master league player and even then, it's only ranked 70something. And everywhere else it's just bad, including raiding. I got 1 normal for the dex at least. Let's see if the alternate forms get released and if that changes things

I just want to transfer mine to SV. It's fun to use in ML actually; people try to swap in Mewtwo as a counter and they end up eating the Crunch

I just don't feel like investing the resources into getting good ML mons to high levels. The lack of a lower cp cap makes doing well in ML not realistic for me as a newer player. So I usually stick with Ultra and Great league where the investment required is a lot less

Yeah, eventually it will be doable for me, but with less than a year of playtime, I'm still working on getting good raid attackers and only recently got to building some decent UL and GL mons
