Power spots seem to be weird, my job has one that keeps changing, there's a KFC next to it and on the day power spots releases it was only at that KFC then it was my job for two days before changing to a taco stand nearby and then changing back to KFC again. So I guess power spots are occasionally just going to swap around

If you go searching for them you can get like 50+ shinies over the 3 hours. I was working today and don't really care about Ponyta, but I still got 18 and a 3 star of each shiny. That's the point of community days. The shiny rate is super super high.

Obviously luck is still a big factor. Even if the rates are 1/2, you can easily go 30 encounters and not see one. It's not likely, but rng is rng. But if you ever want to shiny hunt a non-legendary, com day is the day to do it. They raise the rates for that specific pokemon A LOT

In the past, type showcases have been dominated by a few of the largest secies. Like buzzwole winning bug showcases. Now, your massive XXL wurmple has a use outside of wurmple com day or some random event featuring wurmple specific showcases. Just an example, but you can see the implications. Means your top 1% biggest of any species are now useful. Next up, they need to make xxs showcases. I know it's slightly more dev work, but it's literally in their favor profit wise to encourage people to buy more storage

Probably more effective to get multiple charizards, but anything that can tank hits and build max energy for charizard is good

I was able to fight it with only my charizard at level 40 and no community day move. Also didn't level up my dynamax

Hi does anyone know a good site to know the best counters against dynamax pokemon? I know they aren't tough now but eventually they will get more challenging in the future. Also I went to pokebattler and don't see anything about dynamax raids.

the only dynamax mons rn are beldum, wooloo, skwovet, and the Kanto starters, so it's pretty easy to tell what to use for what

beldum was the only 3* so far and ya just brought charizard, everything else is 1* and bring whatever they will die to a wooloo lol

What will come in the future people don't know yet so trying to prepare isn't much more complicated than just building what's good for normal raids ig

Campfire works well, but you need to use the separate app for it, not the ingame version, if you want to talk to people

Also if you're lucky enough, some campfire groups end up creating discords where it then becomes much easier

The discord for my local group has people trading all the time. It becomes pretty useful

But you could also be the person to start your own campfire group and/or discord server. If you see people putting mons in gyms and stuff, but there isn't a local group, you should definitely create one. A lot of people are looking for a group, but dont want to be the first person to do it
