Trades in Pokémon GO reroll the IVs. The floor is based on friendship level. Trading with a new friend can be as low as a 1 - 1 - 1. Trading with a best friend can be as low as a 5 - 5 - 5. Routes are player generated paths between two points of interest in the game (stops or gyms). The path has to be at least a certain distance but can loop around (a path can circle a pond and start and stop on the same pokéstop). During the path you will usually get one or two extra spawns that pull more heavily from local regionals, and you may encounter a glowing dot on the map that will reward you with Zygard cells, used for changing your Zygarde's form. At the end of your first route each day you can interact with Mateo and exchange gifts with a random other trainer.
If there are no routes near you then you will either need to go to a place with more gyms and stops, or record and submit new routes.

If there's a place you're going to frequently (work, school, store), making a route from home to that place is a great way to do routes as you'd be traveling there anyway.

To make one. All you need to do is find a starting pokestop/gym and an ending pokestop/gym. I believe it also must be 500m long and he like level 38 or something
And a description/route name that fits what the route is
Make sure to add keywords because it may just get put in a giant list of waiting to be accepted. I've had this before. Someone had a route still waiting from last July to be submitted, but when I suggested a change in the name, it was approved at the end of last month

Except not only did Niantic sign off on the changes many times before being released, but we don't actually know which people were fired or why. The company Ninatic worked with to make this feature did mass layoffs, but there's no evidence or reason to believe that it had anything to do with this feature they made for niantic. Many companies do layoffs at this time of year, usually due to budgeting
So there's no reason to believe that will have any effect on anything going forward
But if you just want people to be punished, even then we don't know who exactly was fired, and we know for sure it wasn't everyone involved. Nobody at niantic involved in this update was fired, especially not senior staff who made these calls
So there's no reason to believe they will use this as an opportunity to change or do better AND we have no reason to believe anyone at niantic is seeing any consequences for this

The host a raid function doesn't have the user base it needs to be as useful as it could be, but other apps like PokeRaid or Pokegenie can be good for finding people to invite to a raid you find which can easily get you a lobby of 6 for a raid (as long as it's popular enough for people to raid).

It costs way more than usual for the first time, and then after that you need a much smaller amount every time you mega evolve.
But you can also wait a period of time (7 days for level 0 mega) and it becomes free. The cost also drops closer and closer to 0 as it gets closer to that 7th day.
By mega evolving enough times, you rank up the mega level (up to 3) where you get more perks, including (but not limited to) the cooldown for it becoming free going all the way down to 3 days, and the cost dropping massively compared to level 0.
Also, you only really need enough candy to mega evolve the first time, because you can make a pokemon your buddy, and as long as you've mega'd that specific pokemon once before, you can get more mega energy from walking around the same way you get normal candy.

I don’t spend any money on poke coins, and I can usually take down a 5 star remotely and a mega remotely every time they cycle. Use the gym system. It’s severely underrated. That’s the only way I survive f2p
