Yeah, time gating isn’t the most compelling quest log for this. Jirachi’s “have 10 best buddies” and “catch 10 Kecleon” were hard and was similar to pulling teeth at times, but it was a challenge. Now I’m not saying to do exactly that again, but at least be a little creative.

It was good getting 30 plus invites from other places a day. I live close to the city but I like that fact that I could always send invites and didn't need other people or raid groups help for raids

Ideally they would offer incentives to raid in person but allow outgoing remote raid invites where the person invited doesn't gain that incentive. Something like extra candy and stardust or something if in-person. Could also add AI trainers if you wait long enough at a raid location with nobody joining (like in mainline pokemon games) for the cost of an extra raid pass. There are many potential solutions to this problem that still get people out of their house without locking many people out completely from certain mons because they can't find a 5-12 person group in person. There is no reliable way for those people to fix their lack of an in-person group. Its not something they can control. At that point it's just bad and lazy game design.

Shadow raids and elite raids are a fairly small part of the game at the end of the day, and the rest of the game is enjoyable. I know I'm not alone in being a player that enjoys the game and still finds it annoying that some pokemon are exclusive to those types of raids that are inaccessible. I'd like to participate in that content, but am locked out. It's annoying, but it's not enough to quit. I just feel compelled to voice my criticism and reccomendations for improvements for a game I enjoy

It can’t happen with dittos luckily. If a pokemon is a ditto it can’t appear shiny when you tap on it. If it’s a ditto it’s guaranteed to appear as a non shiny pokemon.

But a non shiny pokemon that turns into a ditto can be a shiny ditto, if you get what I’m saying

3*,4* for high stat. 0-1attack&3-4defense&3-4hp for most PvP situations.

If I want to keep it, I star it. I also use a lot of tags, including temp for look at this later for evaluation. When I just need to skim through recent catches for a bulk release I search !favorite&!#. That's anything not starred or tagged.

I have them stored in the phone's custom dictionary to make the search strings easy to pull up.
