The first- if youre attacking when the gem button is pressed, the 'turn' the gem is used is skipped. It still goes back into your inventory though

Ok so I just learned you can only use 5 gems per raid. But it takes 8 to subdue. So you can't subdue a solo. @NianticHelp why are you letting people throw away resources? It shouldn't pop up in a solo.

Keep an eye out on events that have boosted shiny odds. Such as community days (1/25) research/raid days (1/10) as those are the easiest times to get shiny Pokémon

No worries, the leveling system is a bit weird. I’ve been playing since the beginning and it still confuses me. It’s not too important to know their level though. It’s mainly for the dust threshold and how much you’ll spend to power them up. You won’t need to power up every Pokémon you catch, especially if you’re just using GO as a way to get more Pokémon quickly

We’ll do our best to answer any questions you have though! Looks like Caldavi got the community and research/raid day rates. Just remember there’s a lot of rng involved and that some players will have fantastic shiny luck while others won’t. You should get shinies pretty easy on community days though.

Seems there's a bug in the GO to HOME transfer right now

At present, if you send a Pokémon across, then its experience is getting set way too high.

This means on Mobile it's being displayed as Level 1 and Switch at Level 100 with last 4 moves

It'll probably get fixed soon.
