Yeah! They are definitely spoofing their location. Anytime I defeat a gym in my town within a certain radius, this same guy will get the gym back a few minutes later. My friends and I have tested it on 2 separate gyms at once and the same thing happened. I even tried different times of the day and no matter what time he’ll get the gym back in minutes or even seconds after I defeat it

He has 7 gyms in my town and it’s the same with all of them

The gyms are miles apart. My friend and I tested it. We both defeated a gym that’s a decent distance. They both were taken back by the same guy a few minutes after at the same time

Not all the gyms are miles apart but still. I did consider that he would show up near by, but it doesn’t matter what gym it is and what time of day it is

the max cp of your mons raises with your trainer level so if you get to level 40 you can raise till 4k dragonite

you use candy to raise their cp too btw

also sadly its not boosted shiny rate for the event

If you Evolve a tyranitar between 2pm and 7pm local, it'll know the Exclusive fast move smack down that is really helpful and only learned during events like this.

There's also other boosts like 3h long lures and incenses between 2-5pm, 3x catch exp, seeing larvitar instead of smeargle in snapshot encounters with your buddy, and a $0.99 research ticket for some cheap rewards, but most people just care about the tons of shinies they can get in those 3 hours and the Exclusive move.

Youll only know if a pokemon is a hundo by cp at lvl 30 if weather boosted or lvl 35 if weather boosted

Imo it isn’t super important since you should be catching every high cp mon anyway (for higher xl chance)

Overall not worth your time (partially because wailord isnt good for anything / but mainly because shadows are just ultimately better! For example a 13/13/13 shadow Machamp will hit harder than a 100% normal/purified one as if you purified the 13/13/13 shadow it would be a 100% , each stat goes up 2 points when purifying)

Ivs are pretty irrelevant in terms of raiding, especially for shadow legends where you get so few in the first place so definitely obtain and power up as many shadow mewtwo as possible
