You can only evolve your meltan in pogo unfortunately. There is a gmax melmetal you can get through home but i dont remember if theres/was an end date

if you want to evolve it keep sending mons to pokemon home every 3 days and then open the mystery boxes to get ~70 meltans

if you're trying to get furfrou's other forms registered in the home pokedex, I'd say your best bet is to transfer different vivillon forms from a gen 6 or 7 game to home then throw them in the GTS for other forms

you'd probably have better luck if those vivillons were shiny or had either the fancy/pokeball patterns

you have to walk to find and catch pokemon. you can get pokeballs from pokestops, which can be in many places. (most pokemon have 1/500 shiny rate). once you level up enough you can choose a team and battle in gyms for pokecoins, which can buy items. once you get strong enough pokemon you can play pvp, which is less turn based than bdsp.

To clarify how the Daily Adventure Incense (DAI) works;
It pulls 75% from the current "wild pool", which during spotlight hours is very dominated (about 97%) by the featured mon;
and 25% from a special DAI pool, which has a bunch of things not in the standard seasonal pool.

Seel, Kricketot, Staravia and Zweillous are all not in the standard seasonal pool, so are all from the DAI pool. (Kricketot is now; 20h later; featured in an event though.)

Wurmple is a seasonal spawn dep. on where you are, so you may have had 4 or 5 DAI spawns.

Which is about what one would expect.

Everyone over lvl 34 will get same iv on the pokemon. If i go out now and capture a pogo thats a 100% and i tell u where it is and u capture it too, u get a 100%.

It's to do with the way that GO handles max catchable level. Because they initially wanted a more traditional "levelling curve", where you would get stronger as your level increases, you were only able to catch pokemon up to a little bit stronger than your trainer level. This is how things like Level 1 Lucario are technically possible. (Although not feasible any more). The game reads the string of numbers that makes up a pokemon's data, and interprets the level differently depending on your level. Anything above 30 is uncapped; and so are all read the same way. Anything below 30 is read slightly differently, to ensure it doesn't go above the cap, and then anything after that is also read differently.

So species stays the same, because the game reads it before the level, but things like IVs (Moveset, iirc) are read afterwards, and so are altered.

Working theory on G Birb rates is currently about 1 in 180 DAI spawns. (Given that you get 25% DAI pool spawns from DAI incense, that makes it about 1 in 24 incenses at best, although this number has been steadily climbing up. We originally thought it might have been about 1 in 120 DAI spawns, but we don't really have a big enough sample size to tell for sure.)

Basically: It's rare, great if you find one, you have at most a 32% catch rate on it; and that's being really optimistic; don't expect to snag one with any frequency.

Ultimately, you're probably better off waiting for an event where either it or Gastly is slightly more boosted.

Yeah, there's no such thing as an explicit boost for raiding.

Some species get boosted, and can only be found in raids;

But the two are not the same thing.

Check my explanation in the pins for more detail than I have the energy to give here.

No shiny charm yet. Best way to find shinies is during community day, where the odds become ~1/25 for 3 hours for one specific pokemon.

Yesterday was Galarian Zigzagoon community day, so most people got a bunch of shiny zigs

Also legendary raids are ~1/20 odds

Some Pokémon are boosted to ~1/64 odds, but most are ~1/512

And there are no overworld shinies. You have to tap on it to see if it’s shiny
