But no aurora veil on the ninetales? It's one of the biggest pulls imo. Ninetales isn't too offensive, I think the ninetales should provide more utility like aurora veil or at least encore.

Like even the argument I've seen a lot of people use is that OTS removed something like figuring out items and moves in a bo3 and I also think that OTS improved the general tournament experience not only for the tera mechanic but also avoid overrecompensing people with friend groups at tournaments

I'd likely say you could run Mega Dnite as your second option, and the final slot, may be best to pick up Sneasler for fake out + a stab attacker for certain matchups (e.g. opposing Meganium, Whims, Tyrantiar, etc)

Especially as Mega Dnite gets access to Hurricane and various special attacking moves

I think the thing about mega gyarados is you have to be smart about when to mega because of the typing difference.

That's where a lotta people struggle.

Some people really struggle with the idea of megas that you can't shotgun immediately.

Honestly the problem isn't being more special instead oh physical. It was that the difference between them wasn't a huge difference.

Basc F may lose on powerful last respects but adaptability boosted shadow ball and hydro pump/muddy water and such are still very powerful spammable options especially when the water stab is boosted by rain.

Basc female should've lost 10 more attack points to give it 110 special attack. That's pretty good.

100 is by no means awful when adaptability is in play but... still not exceptional.
