Hey all I am new to the competitve VG scene and trying to get my feet under me wondering where to begin. I know the basics, EVs, IVs, items, etc more wanting tips on how to get started in competitive VG. I had decided to try to use a reg I meta rental team in casual battles to learn how to use the team, synergize and what not. But everyone keeps conceding when they see my rental team. Been doing some casuals with my final team from Violet post-game but it's not really a valid team for reg I meta so far :/

Should I just take my rental team into ranked even tho I got no experience doing much competitive battling?
