Tamiya makes a rubber cement that basically loosens the bonds of the plastic and effectively "melts" it so that you can get a seamless fit. You should be able to fix it with a little bit of that stuff.
Super inexpensive. But you want the extra thin rubber cement specifically.
Tamiya is the brand when it comes to paints and cements for these kits.

The Zamazenta teams you see (especially with the version Michael Kelsch ran at Worlds) are all gonna be based more on a balance archetype meaning that being able to read what's going on in the game at the moment (part of the board state) and being able to identify the best plays to make is gonna be really essential

It's a complicated process
Based on what you're going for with a team you kinda have to gun for certain things as well as certain things you are weak too and be able to recognize when certain investments are necessary and/or if they are reasonable (if the investment is actually relevant or whether or not the investment takes too much and takes away from other necessary investments)
Some people also calc for specific stats that people commonly use or some like me just do what is called "umbrella calcing" for bulk investments which is essentially just max investment into the respective offensive stat for the calc and doing calcs based on natures
Also understand that with bulk calcs you don't always have to guarantee the live although if you reasonably can it's good to
A 1/16 roll or 6.25% chance to OHKO if you're calcing to survive a certain hit is totally acceptable
