This changed dramatically with the inclusion of the DLC. If you clear the Blueberry Academy stuff, it changes the opponents throughout the entire Ace Academy tournament. They now have fairy checks and higher level mons

I haven't been able to AFK auto the tournament in months. I just use the Item Printer now - it takes zero time.

I actually have about eight boxes full of comp stuff - it's made a ton faster by item printing 🤷

Yeah like the toughest part of item printing is finding your switch's delay between screens. You need the screen to go black on a certain time.

Once you get used to the delay it's the easiest cake

to me its also more straightfoward in what it says about ur play. a good team w/ good mons if u cant win consistently w/ that then u really gta improve ur play. in that case u cant use oh im using a bad team or w/e as a crutch

Almost felt that way with this then just started crumbling to volc and ttar reappearing and not understanding how to fix the mu beyond what to bring

i don't want to sound critical or something and may sound empty but in general i think its just analyzing better

like adaptations for example with Volca balance usually are not that easy to check in the teambuilder

So its usually just knowing lines and gameplans, atleast from my experience

lines are overrated imo, its jus macroing and knowing what ur trynna accomplish given the game state. oh my sneasler is infront of a ttar they r likely to tera or switch here cuz of cc threat. oh my pult and sneasler both outspeed volc and get to do big damage. its a constant dance of figuring what the opponent wants to do, what u wanna do and finding the play that covers the most ground

i thinm starting with lines are overrated is a bad take

i think creating a type of linearity in your gameplay that is on par to playing one step ahead of your opponents thinking clears up the game in your head also allows you to freestyle end games

yea im not saying to freehand completely tho. overrated in the sense that i personally think some players focus too much on their lines instead of also allowing themselves that more free flow you have to be able to enter wen ur opponent does something different thats gna screw w/ ur own gameplan. the best players do things that u dont necessarily expect and you have to be able to adapt on the fly. ur gameplan isnt as relevant then. doesnt mean dont have any gameplan or lines
