I will say personally I think the DC issues were HORRIBLE when the game first came out, like I felt like I (or my opponent) DC’d almost every other game

now playing on ethernet, I haven’t had one DC the last two GCs but I also know that not everyone has the ethernet option and also it’s variable AF whether you DC or not

I religiously restart my switch also, probably every 3-5 games

But the fact we are in 2024 (almost 2025) and a multiplayer game with MONEY and the world championship on the line doesn’t have a reconnect feature is embarrassing

how hard can it be to freeze a game state and let someone reconnect

I’ll never forget worlds 2022 when that Golisopod player DC’d on stream from accidentally moving his switch slightly out of the dock and lost the Top 32 (or maybe top 16?) set because of it

For some big offensive threat mons it's usually also good to just use tera to further boost stab moves

Very few manage to have a tera type that's both good defensively and offensively

Like koraidon with fire resisting fairy types and massively powerful tera boosted flare blitz
