looking at the evs, swampert is obviously not meant to be a sweeper or deal hevy damage by its own accord, and support wise, it technically can work with yawn, wide guard, heping hand ect. However an aboslutely massive problem with support swampert is it cannot exist with rilla in the meta as i found out. Always being forced to tera/swap out isnt ideal for a support mon that has to be in the field to well, work. With counter and mirror coat however, swampert isnt just a sitting duck for rillaboom. in many cases i have been able to OHKO rillas whove used wood hammer after a tera, being able to do something after using up my tera is nice. Furthermore as a last mon in 1v1 situations i havent lost yet, making it a reliable mon to keep at the back. And with its decent bulk and typing that only has 1 weakness, im able to pivot out a mon and safely get swampert on field very nicely
