I would definitely prefer if I could use shinies only, and the entire point of the teams is that they use the Goodras, I know that base Goodra isn't the strongest in VGC

Ah, that is unfortunate. There's a lot of incredibly strong things in Regulation F, and other even more strong things that will be legal in Regulation G that don't have shiny forms.

I'm probably less-equipped to give such advice. It is very limiting, and that tends to hurt you in VGC.
