you dont have to comfort him anymore since he alrdy can tell what you really meant to say from your reactions, it'll just make you look like you're hiding your honest feelings from him

what u can do is own up to it and say sorry for reacting like that in front of your partner. and instead of saying he is unattractive, try softer ways of saying that to him
