Be open, and ask to set up a time in the day, even if it's only 20 minutes, where you two can have just you time. That's how I told/asked my bf.

Be like "Hey, quality time together is really important to me. Can we please make time in the day for us to spend time just us?" And even if it's only 10, 20, 30 minutes, or more, it's a start. Only way problems can be solved is by communication, and only through good communication and effort can we make changes.
