Exactly like the title says. I've been in relationship was 4.5years, there were few months of break in between, kinda on and off, but mostly we were there for each other. It felt genuiene. It was first time for both of us. it started as long distance, just online, but later on we met up few times, I even met her mom, introduced her to my family, she got close with my sister too.
Now 4.5yrs later, on a random tuesday she called and said she developed feelings fro another person. She didnt want to brewak up initially. It was a guy I've talked to her about before, and she reassured me that it's nothing and I believed her. After that, when I asked if she can promise she wont approach him again, she answered she dont know, she can't promise for sure, so I broke up. I can't sta upast that, becaue if I did I'd be constantly comparing myself to another person, and it felt very disrespectful. After breakup she got into a kind of a situationship with the other guy in just few days. After ending a 4.5 relationship, which makes me thing if any of that was even real. I dont know what to beleive or not believe anymore, and I just feel extremelty lost.
If anyone has gone thorough smth similar and knows how to get thorugh this, I'd really appreciate some guidance please
