That is incorrect, you don’t have to be a Sociopath to be a sadist, and if he were to fit the criteria for Sociopathy which in the correct terms would be Antisocial Personality Disorder, due to the fact he is under 18 he would instead be diagnosed with Conduct Disorder, which is often a precursor to ASPD, if his Antisocial behavior persists into adulthood, then he would likely be diagnosed with ASPD

I would see myself as the most depressed in the room cuz I got no one to vent to in class but at least I can have my parents 😔 even though they don't understand me cuz their generation is different from my generation

An aspect of depression is that it can deceive you into thinking that you are of the lowest, which is what the person who has all those friends and a 'perfect' life may be experiencing

so it may partially explain why they think this way

firstly reality is different for everyone, what you see is not what other people see. A man driving a car wishes he had a private jet, a man riding the bus wishes he had a car. You cant decide how people internalize the world around them. Secondly, many people suffer from guilt because society on the outside will say they have no reason to be depressed, which makes them feel emotionally invalidated and starved of attention. My guess is he feels neglected despite seeming to have a "perfect" life. We all have different struggles, and its impossible to compare the mental damage it leaves on each individual

Its subjective. According to you he uses a private jet. Thats your percieved reality, but not to him. Regardless anyone can experience depression at any given moment, outside experiences alone dont determine the mental state of an individual. Therefore neither me or you can decide if he has depression or not
