like don't get me wrong i'm furious at him for what he did to me, and last year i literally responded to his text the second he came back, and this year i was so fed up with him coming and going and i was so done. and i keep telling myself i have to block him on insta and for some reason i can't get myself to do it

here's what he said to me after one year of no contact "Not sure if you’re still as good at causing trouble as I remember, but I figured I’d risk saying hey again 😉", and when i left him on read he came back the next day saying "Hey, I get that my message might’ve felt random, and honestly I’d see why you’d be cautious. I just wanted to say I really do mean to speak again as friends, I’m not reaching out out of impulse. You were an important person to me and I’d like to rebuild a friendship if you’re open to it. I’m here for good this time"

i'm ngl, i think he still has feelings for me. if he didn't, he wouldn't feel like he's cheating on his gf by talking to me and he wouldn't need to block me for performative reasons (to prove to his gf he's over me or whatnot), and yeah idk like when he reached out last year we ended up talking from 10pm-3am and the conversation was so smooth and we caught up on life and i remembered why i liked him

like the day he reached out (recently in october), my account was public (it's usually private) but i made it public to promote a book i had released and he took it upon himself to like and comment on my post and it icked me out so bad because WTF
