When i told my parents i had a gf they excited, they were happy for me. But after i told them my gf is trans they became dissapointed.
later my mom "why couldnt you be with someone else?" as if the person i care abt could be replaced by someone who fits their expectations better.
I didnt choose my girlfriend despite who she is, I love her bc of who she is.
They said they need time, but time alone doesnt do anything, it really hurts me to see they struggle with something that feels so natural and right to me and honestly idk what to do right now.
