I dont know why im sharing this even if im not supposed to. But listen, I have this one girl in my class. She's like the smartest person there ever, like literally, highest scores during exams, an excellent leader and etc. I've been catching feelings for her, but there's like one problem. It's more like an inner me problem, she has this one close friend. Her friend is nothing special, she isn't in the honor role, technically more focused in sports actually. I'm not saying that my crush likes another girl, but ive been feeling so.,.,. Jealous? I don't know how to describe it. I have this craving that I want to seek validation from her. I know my crush only sees her as a friend but there's always this feeling that I want to be that close friend too. My crush is very distant, as obviously shes always focusing on her studies, but when it comes to her closest friend, she leaves everything behind just to talk to her. Anyway, typing this out just saddens me more because i can't actually let these feelings out because I struggle opening up, especially if you want me to talk about crushes omfg.

They like switch jackets with each other, it's been going on since 8th grade. Her friend actually has another crush on this one guy but sometimes it makes me feel like she still kind of likes my crush

besides that, they always prefer each other over anyone else which kind of just worsens rhe situation for me
