First of all thank you so much for taking the time to read my (possibly?) unique experience. I have no idea what to do. We first met online 10 years ago on some stupid mmo private server, and at first spoke daily; at worst, a few times a week. He confessed his love to me in the first couple months of chatting, which I felt uncomfortable about. Looking back it's adorable though because we were 14-ish, I haven't brought this up since it happened. We continue to play different private servers of the same MMO throughout these 10 years, including through the pandemic, and also introduced each other to other games.

We flirt, tease eachother, and constantly joke about when he is coming to my country/when I am going to his. When I turned 18 I moved out for university and didn't play video games for the entire year, went out drinking nearly every night, had some cool fun irl friends and forgot about him. I also had my first boyfriend. He's still never had a girlfriend before himself but has had one night stands. After breaking up with my goblin of an ex, we became closer again, voice chatting/with webcam sometimes and playing league of legends now. We still flirt. I don't wanna date people from dating apps or from my country. I want him, I see him as my soulmate.

However, the tables have turned slightly, and with those cool friends I mentioned becoming busy with their own partners/full-time work, I find myself sending him more and more messages and getting one word responses, sometimes he's busy with his own friends. Seems like every month/every 2 months he will spam me out of nowhere to play and chat. He is very inconsistent, yet I still want him, probably because he's familiar yet we have still not met. I am super bad at expressing my feelings but I just want to tell him he's the love of my life and crap. Feel free to leave your advice down below or pls DM me for more info. Thank you!!

3 years on and off but more intensely the last 2 years after a guy I really liked rejected me. I realised probably at the end of 2022 that he could be a dating option, and i think i accepted long ago i love him but couldn't tell if it was a platonic way, or a romantic way. And deep down I thought the longer I wait to tell him or meet him, the better of a person I'll be, but atp I know things in life can't wait forever.

A bit of both but mostly scared of telling him, as it takes balls lmao. If he rejects me our friendship feels like it could recover, I may be embarrassed and i could picture him teasing me about it in the future. He wouldn't be disgusted like some guys have been in the past to me confessing to them, but he may reject me because he doesn't do even long distance friendships, I'm just an exception cause we have tons of fun together. And I forgot to mention he hasn't gone on a plane to meet me yet because of money, we're both full time students and at best I've had a part-time job but he's never had a job before.

We rarely argue and have serious conversations (and confessing my feelings would be quite serious) but when we last argued it was because I was upset he doesn't message as much and he did try to make me feel better lol
