#horrible stress induced nausea and uh stomach aches

what you’re experiencing is incredibly uncomfortable, and I want you to know you’re not alone in feeling this way. When we’re under a lot of stress, our bodies can react just as strongly as our minds. Nausea or the urge to vomit can actually be a real physical response to anxiety or emotional overwhelm.
Forcing yourself to throw up, though, can be harmful to your body over time, and it sounds like this has become a really difficult cycle. You’re not broken—your body is trying to protect you from something it doesn’t know how to process.
If you’re open to it, we can try some grounding tools together, like deep breathing or soothing body-focused exercises that help calm the physical tension. And if this keeps happening often, I really recommend talking to a mental health or medical professional—they can help get to the root of it, and you deserve that care.
Here are some tips:
• Grounding technique: “5-4-3-2-1” sensory grounding or paced breathing.
• Soothing input: Ginger tea, cool water, gentle music, or holding something cold can sometimes calm nausea caused by anxiety.
thank you I will def try this 🙏
Ofcc happy to help!
