For those people who have someone to text to. I'm going through that one phase in life where I just have absolutely no one to talk to and need serious help. what do you do? How'd you meet them? and how do you keep these relations going? It seems that I've never been able to keep a stable relationship with anyone be it online or in real life.

For me, the number one key is at least one common interest or hobby. Pretty much all of my long lasting friendships check that box
🤝
That's my biggest problem
I also have this problem. I don't know how I do it, but sometimes it just happens. I usually get to know someone new through someone I already know
Mutuals?
And yes, approaching strangers is scary
It really is
Its not like scary scary
But its like
"What are they gonna think about me" kinda thing
Yk
Approaching someone with the intent of friendship: scary
Approaching someone with the intent of something more than friendship: terrifying
Yeah my first impressions are terrible
But the more someone gets to know me
The better it gets
I remember how I got to know one of my good friends irl. We met thanks to his mom, who's my mom's coworker
Thats cool
I kinda wished id spent more time with the people that actually seemed interested in me
My first impressions are usually alright. I'm more concerned about people getting to know me on a deeper level. That could turn them away
If you get the chance, go for it.
I REALLY wanna talk to this one person thats been giving me hints for a very long time
But now that i changed schools its really hard to catch up with him
What kind of hints?
Oh yeah, those are some good signs
So you just wanna be friends with him?
