I’m in a relationship rn but my best friend confessed he liked me but we don’t need to date it was just to get off his chest. The relationship I am in rn is distanced like I’m in Aus and he’s in NZ. I don’t know what to do. (I’ll be on tmr going to sleep now)

So like the relation ship I am in rn is like far away we see each other like once per year but we just text and stuff but my friend that asked me out. He lives close to me but the guy in a relationship yk lives at NZ when i live in aus. I feel like I know him more than the guy I’m in a relationship with.

Interesting predicament. Ask yourself if you're only in the relationship out of a feeling obligation, and ask yourself who you're happier with.

Obviously, I'm missing a lot of context, but if you know your friend a lot more than you do your partner... perhaps the relationship already suffers from communication issues.
